Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail oriented Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in seating assessments and fall prevention. Experience in rehab and long term care is highly valued. Excellent communication skills needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and medical condition.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve or restore patient mobility, coordination, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physiotherapist and rehab assistants.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage caseloads efficiently while ensuring high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Valid licensure in CHCPBC .
- Bachelors or Masters in occupational therapy.
- professional liability insurance and WCB insurance.
- Prior experience working in long term care settings preferred
- Proven ability to manage caseloads effectively while providing compassionate patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients/families.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
