Responsibilities
- Stock and organize consumable supplies on shelves and storage areas to ensure easy access and inventory accuracy
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, counting stock, and updating records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, including cleaning equipment and storage areas regularly
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about consumables and assisting with product selection
- Operate basic equipment such as forklifts (if certified) to move heavy or bulk supplies safely
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring products are well-presented
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the workspace safe, functional, and compliant with safety standards
Skills
- Experience in retail sales or customer service roles with a focus on assisting clients effectively
- Forklift certification is preferred; ability to operate forklifts safely is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and customers in multiple languages (bilingual abilities are advantageous)
- Excellent organizational skills for managing inventory, supplies, and workspace cleanliness
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties efficiently as part of daily maintenance routines
- Cashiering experience is beneficial for handling transactions related to consumables sales
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving supplies throughout shifts
