Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures used in production processes. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with measurement tools to ensure high-quality tooling that meets exact specifications. The Tool and Die Maker will play a vital role in optimizing manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Duties
- Build and develop tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures
- Operate hand tools and machining equipment to fabricate, modify, or repair tooling as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and mathematical calculations to ensure accurate manufacturing of parts.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
- Assemble components of tooling and fixtures with welding or mechanical fastening techniques.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and perform adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain documentation of work processes, schematics, and technical specifications for future reference.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve tooling efficiency and implement new designs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role within manufacturing or machining environments.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills using hand tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and mathematical measurements accurately.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, welding, and troubleshooting CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
