This is a full-time, permanent, day-shift position assembling custom material handling and conveyor systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule
- Day Shift, Monday to Friday
- 42 hours per week: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Half hour unpaid lunch); Friday: 7:00 am to 11:00 am
- Overtime paid after 42 hours
- Location is on a bus route

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assemble mechanical components into complete conveyor and material handling systems
- Fabricate sub-assemblies (cutting, drilling, tapping, grinding)
- Operate basic shop equipment (saw, grinder, belt sander)
- Install components such as gearmotors, rollers, actuators, and hydraulic assemblies
- Cut, fit, and crimp hydraulic and pneumatic hoses
- Bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic tubing
- Test completed machines and prepare units for shipping
- Assist with shipping and receiving as required
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Assist with loading & unloading in Shipping/Receiving as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
- Able to push and pull a minimum of 100 lbs
- Proficient with hand and wrist movement and grasping objects
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to operate machinery and foot controls
- Able to pass mandatory Health and Safety testing
- Able to read an Imperial tape measure
- Must supply own CSA-approved steel toe boots (minimum 6" from floor to top side)
