Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products along designated routes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional service
- Upsell additional products or services to existing customers to maximize sales opportunities
- Merchandize products on customer premises according to company standards
- Manage inventory levels, pricing adjustments, and product displays during visits
- Handle heavy lifting of product boxes and supplies during deliveries and restocking
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, sales, and customer interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route status, customer feedback, and issues encountered
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Clean drivers abstract
- Commercial driving experience
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or merchandising roles is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
- Excellent organizational skills for managing routes and inventory efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, invoices, and sales transactions
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and identify sales opportunities
- Reliable transportation with a clean driving record is required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 2 years (preferred)
