Your Opportunity:
The role with the Filter Group division is responsible for leading the supply chain operations planning process and managing end-to-end supply chain functions. This includes demand forecasting, inventory management, purchasing, logistics coordination, and monthly inventory reconciliation support. This role is crucial in aligning sales forecasts with supply capabilities and ensuring that materials and products flow seamlessly from suppliers to customers, supporting both service levels and financial targets in North America. This is a full-time role with business operating hour schedule.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:

Manage purchasing activities, working with suppliers to secure materials, negotiate terms, and ensure consistent supply for production.

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, arranging freight and managing logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing costs.

Support monthly inventory reconciliation, validating stock records against actual counts and resolving any discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.

Monitor supply chain performance through KPIs such as supplier performance, freight costs, and on-time delivery rates, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Inventory and Supply Planning

Ensure inventory levels meet demand requirements while minimizing excess stock through effective safety stock and reorder point strategies.

Track inventory turnover, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve inventory management.

Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, proactively addressing risks like supplier issues or logistics delays to ensure supply continuity.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Analyze sales history, customer trends, and external data to identify demand shifts, risks, and efficiency opportunities.

Generate monthly S&OP and supply chain reports that summarize forecast accuracy, inventory health, supply chain performance, and service levels.

Leverage tools such as Salesforce, Goldfinch, Power BI, and Excel to automate data collection and improve analysis accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and warehouse teams, supporting integrated planning and preventing supply chain bottlenecks.

Coordinate with finance and vendor partners on inventory costs, monitoring valuations, cost of goods sold, and supply chain expenditures to support budgeting.

Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, ensuring transparency, open communication, and favorable terms.
Continuous Improvement -
Regularly evaluate S&OP and supply chain processes for improvement opportunities, recommending strategies to reduce costs, increase accuracy, and enhance service levels.

Implement industry best practices in supply chain management, introducing advancements in logistics, planning, and automation to drive efficiency.

Track and refine KPIs, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and freight costs, adjusting strategies to achieve measurable performance improvements.
Requirements:

Logistics experience in warehousing, transport, and logistics support.

Proven leadership skills, with good business sense.

Proven ability to manage interpersonal relationships

Key Metrics:
Compensation: $74,930 - $101,160 CAD Annual *This range reflects base pay only. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company & personal performance.
