Responsibilities:
- Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet tile. hardwood, laminate, and vinyl
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and applying appropriate underlayment
- Install baseboards and trim around the edges of the flooring
- Use hand and power tools to complete installation tasks
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials
- Apply caulk or other sealants to fill gaps and prevent moisture penetration
- Follow blueprints and specifications for accurate installation
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during installation
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials as needed
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients

-willing to teach a carpenter, or someone who has the attention to detail, willingness to learn quickly and has a high care factor.
