Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
- Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
- Assist in the management of acute care cases and provide specialized pediatric physiotherapy services when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff by adhering to infection control protocols.
Experience
- Prior hospital experience is preferred, especially within acute care settings.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a valuable asset.
- Proven ability in patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
