About the role:
We are looking for a reliable, experienced plumbing professional to manage our warehouse inventory, fleet and hotshots of material deliveries to our active job sites in the Calgary area. This role would be ideal for a Sr tradesperson looking to transition off the tools while still utilizing their expertise to keep our field teams running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Organize and keep track of plumbing parts, tools and material in the warehouse. Reorder low stock and maintain an accurate log of supplies.
- Fleet Management: Oversee day to day management of company vehicle fleet, perform monthly inspections on all vehicles, oversee the coordination of the maintenance of the vehicle fleet, ensure all company vehicles are equipped with the required tools, equipment and safety supplies, track registration, insurance and licensing and warranty information.
- Warehouse Operations: Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized, oversee the receiving of any shipments or packages that come in, load and unload delivery vehicles, dispose of scrap material, ensure compliance with safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Toll and Equipment Management: Track company-owned tools and equipment, inspect tools for damage and arrange repairs or replacements, Issue and recover tools from employees.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman or Plumbing certification
- Strong knowledge of plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings.
- Valid class 5 Alberta drivers license with clean abstract.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs) and preform basic physical warehouse tasks.
- Excellent Organization kills and attention to details.
