Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton SW – Windermere is currently looking for a Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for preparing and serving the hotel's complimentary breakfast, maintaining a clean and welcoming breakfast area, replenishing food and beverage items, and providing excellent guest service. The ideal candidate should be friendly, reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area according to IHG brand standards
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Monitor and replenish food and beverage items throughout breakfast service
- Ensure the breakfast area remains clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist guests with questions, special requests, and dietary or food allergy concerns whenever possible
- Clean and sanitize all breakfast equipment, serving stations, tables, and dining areas after service
- Perform inventory counts and assist with ordering food and beverage supplies
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Clean public areas, including the lobby, public restrooms, and guest laundry room, as required
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is an asset
- Previous hotel, restaurant, or food service experience is an asset but not required
- Food Safety certification is an asset
- Professional appearance and strong attention to detail
- Hard-working, reliable, and team-oriented
- Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
