Your Opportunity:
When Emergency Health Services (EHS) jump to respond to an emergency, they must be prepared. That’s where you come in. Organized, methodical, and with meticulous attention to detail, you ensure that every aspect of the ambulance itself and the equipment on it is ready to go. As a Service Worker - Ambulance Readiness Attendant (ARA), you make certain that the cab, patient compartment, equipment and the vehicle itself is clean, checked and in good working order. As an ARA, you will use digital tools and checklists to ensure EHS staff are fully prepared. That means you will be required to complete and submit digital vehicle and equipment checks, discarding and replacing items with an expiry date, and restocking items as needed. You will be required to reposition ambulances within, and adjacent to, the Mega Station in which you are assigned. We offer endless opportunities for professional development as well as comprehensive benefits, including health and dental, to help you and your family thrive. This your opportunity to start your career with the largest health authority in Canada. Apply today! Please note, while shifts are 12.25 hours long, working hours are 11.08 as you get an unpaid lunch break.
