We are looking for on-call/backup Personal Care Attendants to assist a private male employer with Muscular Dystrophy in providing personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living during the day and overnight.
Location:
- Campbell River (Off of Nikola Road)
Shifts & Hours:
- On-call/backup Availability: Weekdays and weekends
- Day shift : 7:00am-10:00am
- Evening shift : 5:00pm-10:00pm
- Overnight shift : 11:00pm-7:00am
Compensation:
- $25.00 per hour for day and evening shift
- $155.00 flat rate for overnight shift
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- All aspects of activities of daily living and personal care including showering, dressing, washroom care
- Dressing and grooming
- Transfers using ceiling lift
- Bi-pap cleaning
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping
- nightly interventions as neede
Required Qualifications:
- Must be fully vaccinated (Minimum 2 doses)
- Driver;s License and reliable vehicle for ease of transit - required
- Updated yearly flu vaccine
- Willingness to be trained
- Physically able and familiar with mechanical lifts
