Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Window and Door installation helpers to join our team. This role involves assisting with various projects, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and contributing to their successful completion. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of project sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Proper handling of door, window and glass to prevent damage at the warehouse, during transportation and installation
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Assist installers with tasks related to projects
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow detailed instructions from installers to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Skills
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Physical strength and stamina, ability to lift and to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Knowledge of construction processes, ability to read blueprints, knowledge of caulking techniques or experience in both service and installation of windows and doors is advantageous
- Must be neat, tidy, organized, and be able to work with others
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and guidelines
