Simpson's Fence (London) Ltd is seeking a Junior Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will have some knowledge and interest in general construction, along with good good people and time-management skills. In addition they will possess good attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Full-time days (Mon-Fri). Main Duties:
- Communicate with customers regarding projects
- Perform site visits to obtain and verify site details prior to bidding or prior to projects commencing
- Work with senior staff to prepare detailed estimates
- Solicit pricing from suppliers & subcontractors
- Review project details & requirements
- Prepare bid submission documents
- Perform pre-construction discussions with installers to verify project details, and communicate with installers throughout installation periods
Qualifications:
- Computer Proficiency- Excel / Word / Outlook or similar
- Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent time management & organization skills
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Bondable
- Able to build & maintain lasting relationships
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
