Play, Learn, Grow Academy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our licensed childcare team. The successful candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment in compliance with Ontario’s licensing requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate programming aligned with How Does Learning Happen?
- Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of children at all times
- Observe and document children’s development
- Maintain compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Current registration and member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Current clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Knowledge of CCEYA and licensing regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
