Hot Tap Technician / Field Supervisor

What You'll Do
- Lead field crews during hot tapping, line stopping, and other specialty pipeline service projects.
- Supervise a typical crew consisting of an assistant, welder, and NDE technician.
- Conduct pre-job planning meetings, hazard assessments, and safety meetings.
- Coordinate and supervise welding activities on site.
- Coordinate and supervise NDE activities on site.
- Install fittings, flanges, and valves using hydraulic torque equipment.
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing.
- Operate specialized hot tapping and line stopping equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to EnReach's quality standards.
- Act as the Quality Supervisor by completing project documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Execute and maintain EnReach's Quality Management System and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) program.
- Maintain trucks, tooling, equipment, and job sites in a clean, organized, and job-ready condition.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
- Build strong relationships with customers through professionalism, communication, and technical expertise.
- Assist with loading, unloading, mobilization, demobilization, and site cleanup.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 5 years of experience working in pipeline or plant construction and maintenance.
- Understands welding practices and is comfortable supervising welders and welding activities.
- Has experience working around pressure testing, mechanical installations, and pipeline maintenance.
- Is confident leading crews and making sound decisions in the field.
- Is highly organized and comfortable completing quality documentation using Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems.
- Has exceptional attention to detail—you make sure every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed.
- Takes ownership of their work and isn't satisfied until the job is completed properly.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
- Communicates professionally with customers, inspectors, and coworkers.
- Is punctual, dependable, and committed to working safely every single day.
- Is willing to work overtime when projects require it.
- Is comfortable travelling throughout Western Canada and staying in hotels or camps for the duration of projects.
- Doesn't mind long drives with the crew between job sites.
- Holds a valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Can manage the busy-and-slow cycles that naturally come with the oil and gas industry.
- Holds current industry safety tickets (an asset).

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
