Valiant Behavioural Health is a Private, 10 Bed Christian based addiction and mental health treatment center that provides quality private in patient treatment. Our focus is to provide, affordable quality treatment in a comfortable atmosphere. We provide treatment for both men and women, focusing on one on one sessions and SMALL circle groups rather than large classroom settings.

Job Summary
The Program Manager position is responsible for overseeing all Daily aspects of the center. He/She answers directly to C.E.O’s and Clinical Director.
Responsibilities and Duties
- The Program Manager has the primary responsibility is to make sure everything in the center is running smoothly from meals to managing clients and staff.
- Ensure all Policies and procedures are being followed
- Staff hiring, training, scheduling, firing.
- Oversee client meals, shopping, ordering, cleaning
- Manage Client Dr Visits and appointments
- Approve / Monitor Client passes, etc
- Safety training, and monitoring
- Lead facilitator - Teach groups and train other staff
- Conflict resolution
- Assists the client in developing aftercare plans, case management, family contracts, etc.
- Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or family throughout program.
- Provides liaison services between patient and family, significant other(s), referral source(s), interventionists, case workers, and other service providers.
Qualifications and Skills
Electronic medical records experience is an asset.
Must be a Provincially Registered Psychologist
- 5 years of experience Operating an addiction program in a residential inpatient setting.
- If candidate is in recovery themselves, requires a minimum of 5 years of abstinence from drugs and alcohol to be eligible for this position.
- Excellent communication skills
- Have valid drivers license, with a clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.
- Have a criminal record check done
- Be able to pass drug and Alcohol tests at any time.
- Be able to work at a moments notice, in emergency situation
Valiant Recovery is a drug-free workplace conducting random drug testing, including alcohol and tobacco testing. A clean test is required prior to hire. We require all employees to be free from all addictive substances while in employ on and off shift. This includes the use of alcohol and nicotine. (Prescribed medication by a healthcare professional for a current diagnoses is permissible but needs to be notified and changes documented.)

Pay: $52,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
