We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Manager to lead the operations, performance, and growth of our new standalone pharmacy on Academy Road. The Pharmacy Manager adds value to our Co-operative by leading the overall operation of the retail pharmacy, including pharmacy practice, business management, team development, and by providing exceptional patient care.
Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:
Deliver patient-centred care, including medication counselling, injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing.
Build strong relationships with patients and local healthcare providers to support optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, accreditation, safety, and privacy standards.
Oversee daily pharmacy and front store operations, including budget, labour, inventory, and financial performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve service and profitability.
Provide leadership and direction to all Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants working within the pharmacy.
Lead, coach, recruit, and develop a high-performing pharmacy team.
Provide excellent care to all patients.
Execute on financial targets for the pharmacy.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
You must possess a valid pharmacist license for the province of MB, be in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba and have no practice restrictions.
Previous experience in pharmacy management or a pharmacy leadership role would be considered an asset
Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, staffing, inventory, and pharmacy operations would be considered an asset.
Preference given to individuals with at least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist.
You possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
You have strong leadership and patient care skills
Previous experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Possess strong, independent problem-solving skills.
Comfortable practicing to full extent of expanded scope with professional services.
Individual must be injection certified.
