Overview
We are seeking two dedicated workers to join our team in our wood veneer production facilitie. This role involves monitoring quality, production, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. No experience is necessary, training will be provided, but preference will be giving to individuals with veneer, wood manufacturing, production, forklift, and mechanical experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience and wanting to advance in their career.

Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and monitor quality assist with maintenance to ensure efficient production flow
- Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products safely
- Conduct routine cleaning of work areas and equipment to maintain a safe and productive work area
- Perform basic mechanical tasks and troubleshoot minor equipment issues as needed
- Assist with inventory management
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times
- Support quality control measures by inspecting products for defects or inconsistencies
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with veneer or wood products is preferred but not necessary
- Basic math skills for measurements and counting
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude to perform minor repairs and troubleshooting on equipment is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks safely
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
