Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, hygienic environment by performing cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly. Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Dispose of waste materials in designated containers and ensure proper sanitation protocols are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and break areas, including wiping surfaces and sanitizing equipment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow safety procedures to prevent slips, trips, and falls during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation standards and environmental health regulations
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning duties and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and safety guidelines in a commercial setting
- Speaks Spanish
