Maple Leaf Metals is an Edmonton-based metal recycling operation that purchases all types of metal scrap for processing, packaging, and resale. Operations include purchasing and selling scrap, heavy machinery operation, repair and maintenance of machinery, sorting of scrap, and processing of scrap material.
Maple Leaf Metals is seeking a self-motivated, proactive, outgoing, eager-to-learn individual with a great work ethic to become an essential part of the Maple Leaf Metals team as the Cashier, Customer Service, and Administrative Staff on its site. The successful candidate must have prior customer service experience and must be comfortable in an industrial environment. Responsibilities include handling cash, entering accounts payable including processing tickets and paying customers, answering phone calls, administrative tasks such as billing and accounts payable, working with the team to achieve efficiency in administrative operations, and maintain compliance with Maple Leaf Metals safety standards and legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Entering data into shared logic to process customer tickets and process payment
- Entering invoices into shared logic using accurate coding and descriptors
- Working with the team to learn and help with tasks that are required to achieve efficiency
- Ability to excel within a fast-paced teamwork environment

- Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm and up to two Saturdays in a month 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
