Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – approximately 4:00 p.m.)
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on residential experience
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced 309A Licensed Residential Electrician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working directly with homeowners, and represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
The successful candidate will work throughout the Halton and Wellington regions completing residential electrical installations, service work, renovations, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Residential electrical service and installations
- Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Home renovations and electrical upgrades
- Service calls and repairs
- Install and replace electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and wiring
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications
Required
- Valid 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician Licence
- Minimum 5 years of residential electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience with residential renovations and service work
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Current Working at Heights certification
- Current WHMIS certification
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with the current Canadian Electrical Code.
- Understanding of the difference between AFCI and GFCI protection and where each is required.
- Experience installing residential generators.
- Experience installing EV chargers.

Additional Information
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Duration: Approximately 1–2 months, with the intention of transitioning to permanent full-time employment for the right candidate

- Reporting Location:Depending on the day's schedule, employees may report directly to the job site or check in at the shop first.
- Overtime: May be available as required.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
