People & Culture Coordinator
The People & Culture Coordinator supports both human resources and operations within a fast-paced security services environment. This role is critical in ensuring efficient talent acquisition, employee coordination, and operational requirements are met. The position works closely with operations, field staff, and People and Culture team to maintain staffing levels, compliance, and employee engagement across multiple sites.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (excluding Statutory Holidays) from 8:30am - 5:00pm, based fully at our Kamloops Branch.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support high-volume recruitment for security personnel, including job postings, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and training

Coordinate onboarding processes including orientations, uniform distribution, site-specific requirements, and offboarding processes

Maintain employee records ensuring compliance with company policies and BC Employment Standards Act (ESA)

Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation

Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters like benefits, policies, etc.

Prepare reports related to staffing, recruitment metrics, and operational needs

Coordinate and plan employee recognition events, employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and office engagement activities

Support the leadership with performance management and employee care

Perform other duties as requested to assist with branch needs
Qualifications:

Preference given to applicants with a diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 2 year of experience in Human Resources or related customer-focused work

Experience in recruiting

Knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act (ESA) and basic HR practices

Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS, and ATS
-
Conflict resolution experience is considered an important asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

BC Driver's license and reliable vehicle
