Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Elumatec CNC Operator and Curtainwall Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating a 5 axis Elumatec SBZ 122/75, fabricating curtainwall systems, and contributing to the assembly and installation of high-quality building facades. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment, and a background in manufacturing or construction. Responsibilities
- Operate a Elumatec SBZ 122/75CNC machines with precision to cut, shape, and fabricate curtainwall components according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production
- Use hand tools, power tools, and glazing equipment for assembly and fabrication tasks
- Perform machining tasks including drilling, cutting, and assembling curtainwall systems
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse or manufacturing floor is asset
- Conduct quality inspections on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with standards
- Assist in the assembly of curtainwall units for installation at construction sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating Elumatec CNC machinery or similar manufacturing equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly and fabrication processes
- Experience with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling preferred
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment for fabrication tasks
- Background in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is advantageous
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
