What we do:
We are a full service hardscape and landscape contractor. We build and repair drive/walk ways, swimming pools, stairs, and retaining walls. We work with interlock, and armoured stone. We also compliment the hardscaping by preparing and planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. We also provide trenching services complete with restoration work to repair damaged area.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to work unsupervised and as a team.
- Able to manage a small crew of labourers.
- Adhere strictly to company quality and safety standards.
- Report daily on work progress.
- Be able to motivate team and avert conflict.
- Ensure labourers are working in a safe manor.
- Ensure job site is left in a clean and tidy manor each day.
- Proficient at operating and maintaining a mini ex and skid steer.
- Develop/maintain good customer relationships and promote the business and its services.
- Receiving materials on site.
- General duties such as moving and installing various materials.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-year experience as team lead for residential projects
- 2-year experience in the industry
- Have a strong knowledge of tools and heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of how to install interlock, retaining walls, and concrete pads.
- Strong general math and measurement skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to constantly lift at least 30 lbs and other strenuous activities throughout the day.
Following items are not required but a strong asset:
- Valid First Aid training
- Valid WHMIS training
- Valid drivers license or at least reliable transportation to Collingwood.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months (5-6 months remaining this season)
Salary: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Experience:
- Landscape Construction: 2 years (required)
- Lead hand: 1 year
