Murphy's is looking to expand its growing team with two new Guest Experience Associates to help create memorable experiences for thousands of guests who visit our campground, glamping geo-domes, cabins, marina, kayak rentals, and boat tours on Nova Scotia's breathtaking Eastern Shore.
For over 65 years, our family-owned business has welcomed visitors from around the world. Today, we're growing into one of Atlantic Canada's most unique outdoor hospitality destinations—and we're looking for team members who want to grow with us.
We believe every interaction matters. Whether you're welcoming guests, delivering firewood, preparing a cabin, launching a kayak, or answering a question, you're helping create memories that guests will talk about for years.

What You'll Do
Every day is different, but your focus is always the same: creating exceptional guest experiences.
You may be responsible for:
- Welcoming guests with genuine hospitality and enthusiasm
- Checking guests in and answering questions about the campground and local area
- Delivering firewood and assisting guests throughout their stay
- Cleaning and preparing cabins, domes, washrooms, and shared spaces to exceptional standards
- Supporting kayak rentals and assisting with boat tour operations
- Operating ATVs, lawn equipment, and other property vehicles safely
- Performing light maintenance and groundskeeping to keep the property beautiful
- Assisting in our campground store and office
- Resolving guest concerns professionally and proactively
- Looking for opportunities to improve the guest experience every day
Who You Are
You're someone who naturally notices what needs to be done without being asked.
You enjoy staying busy, solving problems, and helping others.
You understand that small details make a big difference.
Most importantly, you care about people.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and approachable
- Dependable and punctual
- Organized and self-motivated
- Comfortable working both independently and with a team
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during our busy season
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications
Experience is valuable, but attitude matters even more.
Preferred qualifications include some or all of the following:
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- Campground, hotel, tourism, or recreation experience
- Housekeeping or property maintenance experience
- Retail or food service experience
- Boating or kayaking experience
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
