Island Construction & Environmental, a design-build company, is seeking an administrative assistant for our Nova Scotia office. Duties include but are not limited to:
-Assisting manager of operations by making phone calls, sending emails, getting pricing, etc.
-Book vehicle appointments, maintain vehicle maintenance records and ensure vehicle registrations are renewed.
-Issue POs for small purchases.
-Pick up materials.
-Help field workers keep things like POs and safety documents organized.
-Help oversee site safety program.
-Maintain physical and electronic files.
-Update and maintain shared calendar of deliveries and related project deadlines.
The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years related experience. A related degree or diploma is not required, but considered an asset. Access to company health & dental plan and RRSP matching will be available after a three-month probationary period.
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
