POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects across the full project lifecycle, from initial handoff through to final close-out. This role leads project planning, cost control, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring successful delivery aligned with client expectations and company objectives.
The Project Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing multiple projects of varying complexity while proactively identifying risks, optimizing performance, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
This role also provides guidance and mentorship to Junior Project Managers and supports continuous improvement within the Project Delivery function.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Management
· Manage full project lifecycle from handoff through design, procurement, production, installation, and close-out
· Develop, maintain, and drive detailed project schedules and execution plans
· Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards
· Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues
Cost, Schedule & Forecast Management
· Own project financial performance, including budget tracking, forecasting, and margin management
· Manage change orders, including pricing, negotiation, and documentation
· Monitor cost performance and proactively implement corrective actions
· Ensure accurate financial reporting and revenue recognition inputs
Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, logs, schedules, and reports
· Provide regular project status updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders
· Ensure all project records are audit-ready and aligned with company standards
Stakeholder Coordination
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams
· Coordinate across engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and installation
· Lead project meetings, reviews, and key milestone discussions
· Manage client expectations and maintain strong working relationships
Process Improvement & Systems
· Drive adoption and effective use of ERP systems (Zoho One) and project management tools
· Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
· Contribute to standardization of tools, templates, and best practices
Team Leadership & Development
· Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior Project Managers and Coordinators
· Support onboarding and training within the Project Delivery team
QUALIFICATIONS
· 5–7 years of project management experience in a project-based or manufacturing/engineering environment
· PMP designation or working toward certification
· Proven experience managing projects independently across full lifecycle
· Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and change management
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, etc.)
· Experience working with ERPs (Zoho One or similar)
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
PREFERRED SKILLS
· Experience in mechanical systems, construction, or industrial projects
· Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
· Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Primarily office-based with occasional site visits and client meetings.
· Use hands to operate computer and various measuring devices.
· Standard working hours with flexibility for project demands.
· Frequently required to sit for extended periods of time.
· Able to climb stairs and service ladders.
· Travel may be required.
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
