About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-time Barn Hand to join our team. This position involves hands-on work with horses and requires dedication to the care and upkeep of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Mucking stalls and maintaining clean, comfortable environments for horses
- Feeding and watering horses according to established schedules
- Ensuring overall facility cleanliness, including sweeping, organizing, and disinfecting areas
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Prior barn or animal care experience preferred
- Experience with general maintenance or farm equipment is considered an asset
