McLeod Valley Sand & Gravel has been in business since 2012. We are a continuously growing Aggregate Supply and Haul company serving the Edson and surrounding area. We transport gravel, do lease site preparation, road building, and construction, heavy equipment operating and more.
McLeod Valley Sand & Gravel is seeking Tower Operators for work in and around the Edson areas.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the daily operations of the crusher site.
- Operate machinery, including crushers, conveyors, and screening equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adjust crusher settings and production flow to meet materials specifications.
- Monitor equipment and systems to ensure proper operation and performance.
- Communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations. Giving instructions on daily tasks
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including performing Lock Out/ Tag Out, Completing Hazard Assessments, Crusher Inspections, etc.
- Maintain detailed records of production, maintenance, and sieve reports.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment at the crushing site.
- Work closely with quality control and supervisors to meet production targets
Qualifications:
- Clean Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Preference's will be given to those who have experience on crushing spreads/heavy equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a Aggregate/ Construction environment.
- Excellent time managements skills, Organized, and self-motivated. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to detect and resolve equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues that may arise.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Fit for Duty, Lift up to 50lbs
