Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, demonstrating product features, and driving sales through effective communication and merchandising. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to work efficiently .
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and attractive
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Utilize effective communication skills, including phone etiquette, to assist customers both in-store and over the phone
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with merchandising strategies
- Support team members with time management and organizational tasks to ensure smooth store operations
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, basic math skills, and cashiering procedures is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively are essential for success in this role
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, and technical sales will be considered valuable assets
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
