Position Summary
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) to support our educators in providing a high-quality childcare program. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate programs and activities
- Support children’s emotional, physical, and social development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Assist with daily routines such as meals, toileting, and rest periods
- Communicate effectively with team members and families
- Follow all licensing regulations and centre policies
Qualifications
- ECA certificate or relevant experience in childcare
- Knowledge of child development principles
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
