Client Service Representative (CSR) – Veterinary Hospital
Dr. Vetamin Referral & Emergency Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly professional Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team.
As the first point of contact for our clients and referring veterinarians, the successful candidate will play a critical role in creating an exceptional client experience while supporting the daily operations of a busy veterinary hospital.
Non-Negotiable Requirement
Applicants must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Client Service Representative in a veterinary hospital or veterinary clinic.
Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule appointments, procedures, and referrals
- Process payments and manage client accounts
- Maintain accurate medical records and client information
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, RVTs, assistants, and support staff
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges
- Respond to client inquiries regarding hospital services and policies
- Coordinate with referring veterinary clinics as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Support the hospital's emergency, referral, and specialty services through efficient client communication
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary CSR/reception experience (non-negotiable)
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable using veterinary practice management software
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred
- Experience in emergency, referral, or specialty veterinary medicine
- Familiarity with EzyVet or similar veterinary software
- Additional language skills are considered an asset
