The Role: We are looking for a Master Electrician to lead the electrical compliance and execution for our residential solar installations. Operating out of your assigned market, you will serve as the Field Safety Representative (FSR) on record, ensuring all electrical work meets the highest safety and code standards. You are not just an inspector—you are a hands-on leader who actively installs alongside the crew while serving as the ultimate authority on electrical quality for our field operations.
What You Will Own
- Actively participating in the physical electrical installation of solar systems alongside the crew.
- Serving as the Field Safety Representative (FSR) for all local projects.
- Ensuring all electrical installations comply with local and national codes.
- Providing technical guidance and hands-on mentorship to Lead Electrical Installers and Apprentices.
- Verifying the electrical materials list and ensuring accurate material usage.
- Signing off on electrical permits and coordinating with municipal inspectors as needed.
Who You Are
- A highly experienced, hands-on electrician with a strong focus on safety and code compliance.
- You hold a valid FSR-B certification (Hard Requirement).
- You communicate clearly and enjoy actively mentoring junior electrical staff in the field.
- You take pride in delivering a flawless, safe electrical installation every time.
Requirements & Nice-to-Haves
- Hard Requirement: Valid FSR-B certification.
- Nice-to-Have: Previous residential solar installation experience.
- Nice-to-Have: NABCEP certification.
- Nice-to-Have: Working at Heights, OSHA/WSBC, First Aid certifications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $45 – $55 per hour (T4 Employee)
- Incentive: Performance bonus structure available.
