Studio 87 is a fine art gallery located in beautiful downtown Perth, Ontario. We have an abundance of talented professional artists in our area and most of the artists we feature, work from within 100 km of Perth.
Studio 87's specialty lies within it's representation of amazing Canadian fine artists, all with a unique practice.
We are looking for an individual to join our team of dedicated staff who can assist with the day-to-day operations and sales, while providing excellent customer service to our clients. The associate may also be required to assist with our Perth Luxury Rental apartments, on occasion.
Must be available weekdays and/or weekends.
The Retail Associate is responsible for the following:
- Interacting with customers, assisting customers with the purchasing process, and arranging deliveries
- Assisting in operating our social media accounts
- Maintaining our online store and website
- Receiving new merchandise
- Visual merchandising
- General cleaning and hygiene responsibilities
- Managing store operations as required.
The Retail Associate should have the following skills and education:
- Customer service experience is essential
- Previous retail experience is an asset
- Motivated self-starter and problem solver
- Enthusiastic attitude in person and over the telephone
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers and IOS devices
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Office, Google, Dropbox, Wix and Mail Chimp are preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
