Your Role
As an Experienced Family Lawyer, you will:
- Handle family law matters with confidence and empathy.
- Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Contribute to firm development initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in various matters.
- Conduct thorough research on legal issues and case law using tools such as LexisNexis.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Prepare legal briefs, motions, and pleadings for court proceedings.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings.
- Maintain accurate records of case files and documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A member of Alberta Law Society, or plan to become a member.
- Proven experience in legal research, writing, and drafting documents.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Pay: $100,000.00-$190,000.00 per year
