We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. Duties
- Conduct diagnostics and repair of automotive systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as welders, lifts, and industrial machinery
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial or farm machinery as needed
- Work with HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of industrial equipment
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of vehicle parts or machinery components
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed for each vehicle or piece of equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or related mechanical fields; dealership experience is a plus
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery
- Skilled in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance of industrial equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and system diagnostics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are preferred
