Job Overview
We are seeking a polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Server to join our private members club team. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional, personalized service in an exclusive, upscale environment. As a Server, you will build lasting relationships with members, anticipate their needs, and ensure every dining experience reflects the highest standards of hospitality and discretion. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tables while maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, attentive, and personalized food and beverage service to club members and their guests.
- Develop a strong knowledge of menu items, daily specials, wine, cocktails, and beverage offerings.
- Anticipate member preferences and deliver service that exceeds expectations.
- Accurately take orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and elegant dining environment throughout service.
- Set up and break down dining areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, private events, and special functions.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
- Handle member requests and concerns with professionalism, discretion, and urgency.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Process checks and payments accurately when applicable.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the privacy expected within a private members club.
- Assist with club events, receptions, and member functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or upscale restaurants preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certifications (or ability to obtain) preferred.
