Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Parts Picker to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient selection of automotive parts for shipment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, mechanical knowledge, and operate heavy equipment safely. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on precision and safety.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick automotive parts using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment
- Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment such as forklifts, crane, clamp truck, and other heavy lifting tools
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and clamp trucks, following all safety protocols
- Manage shipping & receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of warehouse storage areas
- Support loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of parts to production or customers
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or similar roles preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and order picking procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklift, crane, and clamp truck safely
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and load & unload tasks
- Experience with order picker devices or construction site logistics is advantageous
- Warehouse experience with a focus on safety and efficiency is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
This position requires candidates to be capable of heavy lifting, operating various types of warehouse equipment, and adhering to safety standards. Prior experience with warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation will be considered valuable assets for success in this role.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
