Overview
Procare Pharmacy & Compounding Centre is a well-established community pharmacy located in North York, Ontario. We specialize in personalized patient care, including compounding, blister packaging, retirement home services, and clinical programs such as medication reviews and minor ailment prescribing.
We are seeking a Part-Time Staff Pharmacist with at least 5 years of community pharmacy experience who is confident, detail-oriented, and proactive in patient care and workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care through professional dispensing, counseling, and clinical service delivery.
- Conduct Medication Reviews (MedsChecks, CMRs) and document clinical interventions accurately.
- Prescribe and manage Minor Ailments in compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) standards.
- Verify prescriptions and compounded products for accuracy, therapeutic appropriateness, and safety.
- Oversee pharmacy assistants and technicians to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to SOPs.
- Support compounding, blister packaging, and long-term care operations when needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapy outcomes.
- Maintain professional documentation, uphold confidentiality, and comply with all OCP and Ministry of Health standards.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.

Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting.
- Proficiency in Kroll dispensing software (required).
- Familiarity with Mapflow, Medassist, or similar clinical tools is an asset.
- Authorized to Prescribe for Minor Ailments in Ontario.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with compounding or interest in learning is preferred.

Pay: $45.00-$62.59 per hour
