Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations promptly.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Answer phone calls and assist with takeout orders
- Help ensure smooth flow of service
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience is an asset but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Schedule: Flexible, evenings and weekends
