Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of orders in our establishment. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Communicate with servers and other staff members to ensure accurate order details
- Monitor order tickets and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Assist in food preparation, such as chopping vegetables or assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Handle cash transactions and provide excellent customer service when necessary
Skills:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in order details and timing
