Location : Grant Park Shopping Centre - 1080 Grant Ave
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join the Canadian Tire team. The Receiver will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and ensuring accurate receipt of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies
- Unload trucks and verify received quantities against shipping documents
- Sort, count, package, label, and store materials or items
- Maintain accurate records of received goods in the warehouse management system
- Operate forklifts or other machinery to move materials within the warehouse
- Assist in inventory control activities including cycle counts and physical inventories
Experience:
- Prior experience in a warehouse distribution environment preferred
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving procedures
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of order picking processes and procedures
