Carebridge Corporation is seeking experienced and professional Bartenders to support weddings, banquets, corporate events, private functions and other hospitality assignments throughout Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This is a casual, event-based employment opportunity. Assignments are offered based on client needs, location, qualifications and your availability. Hours are not guaranteed.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Provide professional and friendly guest service.
- Follow Smart Serve requirements and responsible alcohol-service practices.
- Verify identification and monitor guest alcohol consumption.
- Set up and maintain clean, organized bar stations.
- Restock beverages, ice, glassware and bar supplies.
- Process drink orders and payments when required.
- Follow event timelines, venue policies and client instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the assignment.
- Assist with closing, inventory and bar teardown when required.
- Report incidents or guest concerns to the on-site supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Smart Serve certification.
- Previous bartending experience in events, banquet halls, restaurants, hotels or similar hospitality settings.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift hospitality supplies.
- Reliable transportation or a dependable method of travelling to assignments.
- Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to follow venue dress codes and grooming standards.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at weddings, corporate events or large banquets.
- Knowledge of standard cocktails, mixed drinks, wine and beer service.
- Experience with point-of-sale or payment systems.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
- Availability for last-minute or short-notice assignments is considered an asset.

- Schedule: Event-based, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Compensation: $17.60 - $20.00 per hour
- Assignments are offered based on client requirements and worker availability.
- No minimum number of hours or assignments is guaranteed.
