The Maintenance Manager performs and manages preventative and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment, ensures maintenance compliance to applicable regulations and maintenance policies.
The Maintenance Manager must be able to collaborate with other plant personnel to identify, fix and improve performance of the equipment within the plant operation. The Chief Engineer will also informally lead the maintenance team via coaching and demonstration of work. Success within this role will be measured by the performance to ensure safe and cost effective operation of the facility and its equipment, as well as consistent operation of wastewater systems and power plant equipment. The ability to work as a team and with sense of urgency is also critical.
Essential Job Functions:
· Maintenance team leadership including personnel scheduling, training and coaching.
· Teamwork and collaboration with key operational partners including the General Manager, Production Management, and Regional Engineering support.
· Expert use and application of a computer-based Preventative Maintenance Program; repair actions and urgent response to failed equipment.
· Hands-on advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capability; focus on automation and controls
· Maintain operational, safety, and environmental compliance; record data, record retention, and reporting; includes wastewater compliance, safety training, logs, record submittal, computerized maintenance.
· Timely and robust preventative maintenance on equipment and the facility.
· Hands-on coaching of other developing members of the maintenance team.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school or equivalent; additional training in the following area(s) preferred (plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, mechanical systems)
· Work Experience Requirements: 7+ yrs industrial maintenance
· Specific Skills and Competencies: Electric schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, controls, steam/boiler operation, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety compliance (e.g. LOTO, hot work, confined space) wastewater treatment
· Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc: Boiler operator license (some states), wastewater certification (some states), computerized preventative maintenance systems
Working Environment:
· Comfortable in a dusty and noisy environment
· Work required in industrial setting; Protective personal equipment as required; Maintenance related work

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
