Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Food Manufacturing professional to ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining quality control processes, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing environment. Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform detailed analysis of product samples using established testing procedures and documentation protocols.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to identify deviations from quality specifications and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, inspection results, and non-conformance reports for traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively, supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Support project management initiatives related to process improvements, new product launches, or compliance audits.
- Participate in internal audits and coordinate external inspections to uphold certification requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on food quality control or assurance.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality inspection techniques, and quality management systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with QA/QC principles, food safety regulations, and industry standards such as HACCP or GMP.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting findings clearly.
- Project management experience is a plus for supporting continuous improvement projects.
- Relevant certifications in quality assurance or food safety are desirable but not mandatory. This role is integral to maintaining the safety, consistency, and excellence of our food products while supporting ongoing innovation within our manufacturing operations.
