We are a real estate management company that provides services to rental and strata clients. We are now looking to hire a Finance Manager/Controller to run the operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Vancouver, BC involves leading the overall finance team's operation for our clients deliverables; including the oversight, motivating and supervising financial activities, preparing financial reports (full cycle) and supervising accounting staff.
This role is ideal for a current Finance Manager/Controller or assistant /senior accountant looking to take the next step in their career.
Qualifications
- Professional certification such as a CPA or CMA is preferred
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years of staff management experience
- Strong knowledge of full cycle accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong staff communication and motivational skills
- Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn accounting management software such as Yardi and Condo Manager are needed.
