The Senior Building Operator reports to the Operations Manager and will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the building including general maintenance and maintaining mechanical systems and foster positive relationships with tenants, contractors and sub-contractors.

Education & Experience Requirements

Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred

BES I/II certification or an equivalent technical designation is considered an asset

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the property management sector

Proficiency with computer applications is an asset
What We’re Looking For

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Working knowledge of building systems, including building automation systems, preventative maintenance programs, HVAC operations, life safety systems, security systems, plumbing, electrical systems, door hardware, and hazardous materials handling

Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of building systems and equipment

Knowledge of construction practices and techniques

Excellent customer service and relationship management skills

Current certification in Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED
-
Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with access to a reliable personal vehicle for daily use
