The Opportunity
We're looking to bring on a skilled painter who takes pride in their work and wants to learn and grow with a company that has a long term vision. The opportunity is open to painters seeking full-time work.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, filling, sanding and caulking as needed
- Apply consistent, high end finishes across multiple products and substrates with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to progress a job with minimal direction
- Operate and maintain ladders, power tools and hand tools
- Maintaining clean, organized and professional job sites
- Reliable transportation to get to and from jobsites on time, in the Greater Victoria area
- Working independently and alongside a small team
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of painting experience (interior and exterior)
- New construction experience is a plus but not required
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn, improve, and take constructive feedback
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance appropriate for working in a high-end residential environment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
