Role Description
We are hiring Security Guards for full-time and part-time on-site positions based in Chilliwack, BC.
The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring assigned premises, conducting patrols, controlling access points, responding to incidents, and completing clear reports. The role requires a calm, professional presence and the ability to communicate respectfully with clients, visitors, staff, and the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned sites, buildings, properties, or event areas
- Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols as required
- Control access points and verify identification when needed
- Respond to alarms, incidents, safety concerns, or suspicious activity
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations through clear reports
- Use company systems for tracking, communication, and site reporting
- Assist visitors, staff, and clients in a professional manner
- Follow site procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence at all times
Requirements
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle
- Class 5 driver’s licence preferred, but not mandatory
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts
- Professional, well-groomed, and presentable at all times
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and use good judgment under pressure
- Able to stand, walk, and perform light physical duties for extended periods
- Available for varying shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience is an asset

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
